I heard, “Give your assent, give your consent!”
Then the Lord said this:
“A line in the ground has been drawn, yet do My children ignore its existence. For in rebellion do their hearts remain, though they claim to be devout followers of My Son. Yet do their actions speak otherwise, for their loyalty to Him only goes so far and, as such, can they be found even now making concessions with evil. For they have grown accustomed to the sound of his voice and so readily listen to the words he speaks.
See then do these children refuse to firmly plant their feet on the side of righteousness, and so have sought to fashion their own middle ground out of “compromise”. And while no middle ground exists, even still do they persist with their folly, for they are convinced that My standards of holiness are not absolute, but are flexible, depending upon the circumstance. As such shall these children remain positioned in direct opposition to My Will for this nation, for I shall never yield ground to evil, and so shall not support that behavior in My children, regardless of their excuse.
Then the belief of those who insist that when it comes to politics I am altogether aloof could not be more wrong. Thus can the same be said of those who claim I would have them compromise with evil in order to win an election, for neither position is consistent with My nature. Therefore, none of My own should be found agreeing with either of those sentiments, for neither is supported in the Scriptures.
Sadly, in the coming days shall both those lies be reinforced amongst the Church in America in order to justify giving their consent to evil, for surely many of My children can be found, even now, participating in the current election cycle. And while more than a few would declare it to be their patriotic duty to do so, as believers, it is My Kingdom first that should always be their stance, no matter the candidates running for office, as both parties are still pro-abortion and pro-gay marriage.
So then, for My children to give their assent to anyone standing on either of those platforms is to give their consent to the proliferation of gross evil. For indeed does a spiritual transaction occur when they cast their vote, for they are saying “yes” to the entire party platform that each candidate is standing upon and not just those policies that they personally favor.
Then because both parties are still holding to the same platforms as in the previous election, none of My children should be lending their support to any candidates on the ballot, and thus are My instructions still the same, which is: to abstain from voting unless it is specifically for ballot measures; otherwise, no endorsements should be given. And while some will say that that approach is fool hearty, unfortunately, it is they themselves who have been duped, for it is not a politician or political party that shall change America for the better, as the entire political system is nothing but corrupt.
Then to keep showing up again and again to vote, yet expecting different results, is an exercise in futility, for the promises made by candidates out on the campaign trail are seldom upheld once they are elected to office, as those candidates, once elected, simply become absorbed within the larger political structure, and thus can do very little to change America’s trajectory towards a more favorable heading. Even still shall more than a few of My children show up to the polls and vote because that is what they have always done.
Yet do I say to My children, “There is another option, but you must have the courage to take it, for it shall involve stepping away from the political system and fully trusting Me with your future and that of this nation.” And so again do I say, “Abstain! For at this point in time, that is the only right option. For to give your assent, is to give your consent to evil. And since I have not changed My mind on this matter, it is you who must come into alignment with My position and not Me with yours.”
Ah then do I offer this challenge to My own, “Will you remain standing with the crowd on the side of compromise, or will you stand with Me, and abstain?”
