Even though it was several years ago, I remember it like it was yesterday. I had gotten off work later than usual because my last client of the day was considering abortion. When you work at a crisis pregnancy center, if a young woman comes in with this frame of mind, you don’t ask them to come back the next day, you stay even it means being there after closing time; which wouldn’t have normally bothered me, but I had a video lecture to watch for my Bible college class the next morning and was already drained. Needless to say, when I did make it home I was in no mood to stay up any longer than necessary. But God ….

“Stay up a little longer and spend time with Me”, I heard Him say. I just wanted to turn in and close my eyes, yet the Lord kept pressing my heart to come away into His presence. I listened and heard Him share those amazing words with me. Amazing not only because they revealed a profound new truth, but that I could actually hear Him speak. Not my voice, but His. He spoke to me over several journal pages of the plans He had for my future, as well. I was stunned, never before had I experienced God in that way.

I am still astonished that He chose to relate to me, and through me, in this way. The words He’s given me are deeper and more complex in form and content than I could ever have done on my own.  What started out as personal words has now grown to include words for the Body of Christ, America and even the world. 

And now, that simple act of obedience has turned into something I could never have imagined. “My Daily Letters” was once a stand-alone website, but the Lord recently expanded our vision. “My Daily Letters” is now incorporated with LAM International along with  “My Weekly Teachings” and  “My Choice Is Life”.  All three are rooted in the same prophetic anointing.
