Fumbling, fumbling, fumbling in the dark,
relying, again, upon the old wineskin.
Holding onto what has passed.
Yet do they set themselves up as the highest authority,
as those who have the final word.
“Don’t listen to them”, they say. “Listen to us!
We are the true prophets, the only ones who hear from above!”
Yet unaware do they sit,
not realizing it is they, themselves, who are walking out of step.
For their ears have been tuned to hear only one message:
A positive word,
absent any judgment.
For “love” would never predict a negative outcome.
A faulty litmus test applied.
The results are in:
“False prophet, false prophet”, is their cry.
“For his/her prophetic words are contrary to our own”.
Verdict rendered.
Guilt assessed.
Thus has a line of division been drawn amongst the prophets.
Though it was just announced,
yet is war already here.
Self-fulfilling.
Intentional.
Calculated.
For their public declaration was not simply a warning,
thus is “conformity” their demand.
Therefore, all those who fail to comply shall then be labeled as “heretics”.
Accusations shall fly.
Legitimate prophets shall be denounced.
Slanderous words.
Weaponized rhetoric.
The fuel used by the self-righteous to burn true oracles at the stake.
“Witchcraft”.
“Demonic”.
Words that shall often be uttered as this war between the prophets ensues.
Yet a truce shall not be,
for the majority shall attempt to silence the voices of the few.
Berated.
Chided.
Yet, not defeated.
A new generation of prophets shall arise…
Undaunted.
Determined.
Well-Equipped.
A clandestine company of warriors,
a modern day sect of the Essenes.
“Metanoia, metanoia” is their message.
For they have been sent to challenge My children to think again.
“Repent [change your inner self—your old way of thinking, regret past sins, live your life in a way that proves repentance; seek God’s purpose for your life], for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” – Matthew 3:2
