The tables He turned were flipped to signify My intolerance for the corruption which had entered My temple: that Holy place where My Presence dwelt.
And so, on that day when He entered the temple, His actions were not political, nor was He endorsing protest against a worldly system. He was exemplifying, in the natural sense, the battle being waged in the spiritual realm. So when He engaged the money changers on the temple floor, He was not acting in His strength, but was putting the enemy on notice that the authority on earth was about to shift, for all of His actions and words were always aligned with My good and perfect will. And though many believers today have taken His actions as a license to protest against what they see as a corrupt political system, these have misunderstood My Son’s intentions. For His appearance here on the earth held a much higher spiritual significance than becoming a source of endorsement for anyone who wants to act out against government policies. Because He yielded to My every leading in each moment of His life, He never once acted out of turn with what I was saying and doing, as even the turning of the tables was woven into My plan for His days here on the earth.
However, because many of My own have used His actions as an excuse to join with the current political movement happening in their streets, they are missing My will in this situation. For My Son never assumed He knew what I wanted Him to do, which is why He leaned on My voice to guide Him through His days.
So then, which of My own have paused to ask Me what I am saying now? Since these believers have a limited view of the whole in this current situation, wouldn’t it be prudent to seek the One who has the full scope of the problem to see what I would have them do?
My eye is always focused on the bigger picture, which encompasses the whole of eternity. And since I am, therefore, well acquainted with the specifics, because I can see this problem from every angle, I have already determined the best course of action that should be taken to see that the enemy’s schemes are halted. Yet when My own assume that they know My will without asking, how easy it is for them to be caught in a trap the enemy has set, unable to discern where the pitfalls surely lie, leaving them without the confidence of secure footing because they are not walking on the path of My will.
So then, if I have not sanctioned this battle, My children should stay away from even lingering on its fringes. For how easily they could succumb to the enemy’s pull to enter this skirmish when the true campaign lies elsewhere, on a much larger spiritual plain. This has always been where the battle fray lies, for it is the dark forces of evil that are the real enemy and not the people who have partnered with their lies.
So when My own choose to behave like those who are lost, they are agreeing with the voice of the enemy instead of My own; for any who walk as children of the light should never agree with his lies of oppression.
