Their shepherd staffs have been removed, for I have stripped them of that authority. Yet, should they persist by refusing to resign from their commission as overseers of My flock, then, in due time, shall I remove them Myself, for surely am I now calling for that old guard to step down.
[As He said the words “old guard”, I saw a group of men. At the very front of the group stood Kris Vallotton, and next to him was Bill Johnson.]
Then, just as if soldiers who are insubordinate, am I issuing this order for these disgraced shepherds to relinquish their command, as they are no longer fit to serve Me in their current capacity. For surely have they abused their positions of authority. And so, at this time, am I rescinding their call to active duty, for they are no longer qualified to lead and guide My sheep.
So while they did offer a public apology for their dereliction of duties, even still have I deemed them to be disqualified as shepherds. Therefore, they should tender their resignations immediately. For one way or another, they will be sat down, whether voluntarily or by the force of My hand.
So though I did offer several warnings that exposures where coming to the Church, yet because these disgraced shepherds did not think the exposures to which I was referring included them, they were blindsided when I called them to account for their blatant and willful acts of disobedience. For surely did these disgraced shepherds think they had avoided any repercussions for their sinful conduct (since My rebuke of them was not immediate).
Yet, did they deceive themselves, for they thought “grace” to be the caveat that would let them off the hook for their insubordination. And so, not only did they conceal darkness that should have been revealed, but also harbored evil that should have been driven from their midst. And so have they been found unfit to act as guardians over My flock, as they cannot be trusted to safeguard the well-being of those sheep I placed under their care. For surely have they knowingly allowed more than a few wolves into the sheep pen.
Then to resist Me by ignoring My call for their immediate resignation, shall only further damage their reputations; for surely are these disgraced shepherds already viewed in a dim light. Therefore, they should relinquish the reigns of Bethel Church, and its running, into the hands of those younger shepherds that I have called up to serve the community of Redding. For surely into their hands has the staff of authority been passed.
And so do I say to these disgraced shepherds, “Surely are you reaping the harvest of the deceptive seeds you have sown and, as such, shall your reputations forever remain tarnished. For that stain shall you be unable to remove, as you have indeed betrayed the trust of many. Therefore, are you now to swallow your pride and, instead, act in humility by relinquishing your titles as pastors and ministry heads, for you are no longer to operate again in that function, nor are you to promote yourselves in any capacity within the Church at large, as all outside ministry is to cease altogether, even that which is done separate from Bethel Church; for indeed are you now to observe from the sidelines.”
Then do I say again to these disgraced sheep, “Relinquish your command! For even now are you only operating in the title “shepherd”, as that mantle of authority and anointing has already been lifted from your shoulders. Thus do I say again, “Relinquish your command!”
