While receiving this word the Lord highlighted the parable of the wheats and tares from Matthew 13, where the enemy planted bad seed amongst the good seed so that weeds were mixed in with the wheat.
Something to note is that wheat stalks and tares look almost identical in the early stages of development, it is not until the stalks have matured that the two are distinguishable from each other, the tares are much easier to pick out because of the little black seeds they produce.
In this Letter the Lord also spoke about the threshing floor, which as we know symbolizes judgment, (Hosea 13 and Luke 3). The threshing floor is the place where the weeds are exposed and then separated out from the true stalks as an initial stage of the threshing process
Vision:
I saw different individuals dressed in their Sunday best, they had the appearance of a real believer; going through the motions, they knew all the worship songs, could quote scripture, some had even been raised in the church, but the fruit of repentance did not exist in their hearts, as I was watching these different individuals milling about the community of believers, suddenly a giant hand reached down from out of nowhere and snatched them away, like when an opponent loses a pawn in a game of chess.
The scene shifted and I was standing on the threshing floor where I saw wheat that had already been gathered, laying in tied up bundles in a giant pile waiting to be processed. As the Lord began moving through the bundles, He examined each stalk, when a tare was exposed it was quickly separated out, He showed me that this thinning was being done to ready His Body for the greater harvest that was about to happen on the earth.
Then I heard this:
See then, upon the threshing floor have I gathered the wheat, for in this season am I purging My stalks of any tares, as many are the counterfeits which dwell in their midst. And so before Me do all now stand, those who have professed with their mouths belief in the Savior. However, in some, was this Truth never embedded in their hearts, and so these remain seated with the unregenerate, for not all who publicly confess Jesus is Lord are saved. Though these felt the pull in their spirit to seek forgiveness, still in their hearts was there no true repentance. For even though this physical act of standing before the assembly is meant to be an outward demonstration of an internal shift, where the inner man has bowed before Christ as King, still in many did this occasion not bear the fruit of genuine contrition.
And so is it only the label “Christian” that these wear; like that of a denominational affiliation rather than the countenance of an actual believer. As such do they lack the faith to trust in Me when the pressure of more intense shaking is applied to their lives. Though I gave fair warning to “the church” that My judgment had come upon it, still did most disregard My words, and will not be expecting the greater adversity that shall suddenly befall them. Therefore, many of these will lose heart and then succumb to its pressure by abandoning the belief they once unequivocally professed, thus fully rejecting My deity; and so shall these soon be known as “deniers”.
Ah then it would appear there is a much higher purpose to the shaking that is coming upon the earth than simply a season of turmoil, as this purging of My house is vital to the overall expansion of My Kingdom effort throughout the world. This thinning of the tares shall serve as the mechanism which strengthens My Body, for then shall a more unified “church” emerge, one that is singularly focused on seeing My Will is accomplished over that of any man, whether that be the vision of a pastor, spiritual leader, or religious organization.
Throughout the bundles of wheat already gathered have I begun this threshing process, starting with those shoots lying directly on top of the heap, as even amongst these more prominent stalks, those thought to be pure wheat, do tares exist, and as such, will these continue to be exposed for the “frauds” that they are, to then be carried off when My winnowing wind blows against them.
Be advised, then, you who are listening, that the shaking now seen upon the earth will soon intensify and shall not cease until My threshing process is complete. Therefore, it is not your physical faculties that should be utilized to surmise the happenings upon the earth, as the natural man is still unable to discern that which is occurring in the spiritual plain. Don’t become disheartened when you see many falling away, as many of these were never Mine to begin with. Remain, then, firmly affixed to the ground of unshakeable faith: in the knowing that it is not the end of times that you bear witness to, but a greater unfolding of My eternal plan for mankind, where “the church” re-emerges as a mighty force that is ready to reclaim every square inch of territory to which they are the rightful heirs.
Therefore, even if you hear news of chaos and destruction all around you, remain encouraged, for again, through this turmoil and disorder are My higher purposes being served.
“Jesus put before them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. But while everyone was asleep, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and slipped away. When the wheat sprouted and bore grain, then the weeds also appeared. The owner’s servants came to him and said, ‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?’ ‘An enemy did this,’ he replied. So the servants asked him, ‘Do you want us to go and pull them up?’ ‘No,’ he said, ‘if you pull the weeds now, you might uproot the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat into my barn.’ ” -Matthew 13:24-30
