To squelch out the voice that’s considered dissent is the strategy employed by many who desire to see a country and its people shift direction.
Then any who would speak with an opposing view is described as having ulterior motives, and therefore, should be considered of the untrustworthy sort. Yet, slanderous rhetoric has become the weapon of choice in this popular culture, as those hungry for power look to slay their opponent without a single shot being fired, using the tactic of character assassination as the method for defeating those who hold the highest seats.
So then, a constant bombardment of malicious statements are fired across the airways of this world, so that even those in other nations are being targeted with this misinformation. For tearing down the banner of this great land won’t start from outside its borders, as a small group who hold seats of power are the ones attempting a coup. For inside the walls of this legislative branch are seated those who are enemies of its people: those who were appointed to positions of official capacity; where these operate behind the scenes. And though the role they have been given seems innocuous, the bent in their hearts is dark.
Out of the public view, rules and regulations are passed which chip away at the rights of this people, so that soon the freedom once boasted by this land will only be a vague memory; with its governmental structure resembling something found in foreign countries, where people have little or no say as to how their country is run, and those propped up to lead are not elected but placed into authority by others already in power who have the same political views. Although, the foundation of this country was established with the “less is more” approach, where the government was intended to play a smaller role in the lives of its people, over time, however, those with objectionable character found small holes in this nation’s initial charter, and so wiggled in ideas which contradict the original statements of freedom given to the people of this land.
So then, a quiet coup has been at play for some time, as more and more roles are created to staff a larger government, where “by the people and for the people” is no longer the tenet followed by the bureaucrats in charge, as these do not see the individual as having importance outside of the revenue he or she can generate through taxation. Therefore, personal rights are a hindrance to those who believe a more progressive approach would be best, and who promise their system of governance would create a more fair and level economic structure for all.
But in reality, what does this methodology truly accomplish? For if this people lose their say in what the government does, then who draws the boundary line on what is enough? Who tells those in charge they have gone too far with the laws being made?
Then, very soon, if this people aren’t careful, this once beacon of hope will lose its light because the nation has adopted a more progressive stand, where its citizenry are viewed as producing for the state, and the dreams of a better future are squelched, as perpetuating the official system becomes their only purpose. Personal preference then becomes a thing of the past, since all are expected to contribute to the whole of society. If this people stay this course, the result will be shades of gray filling their nation, as the bright light of expectation is snuffed out because the only destiny allowed is dictated by the government. For this reason, “potential” will be viewed negatively, for all must remain at the same level without anyone being allowed to rise above another. Those who excel are seen as possible rivals and so must be held down to keep order.
However, even if the independence granted to this people were to be stripped away, the source of true freedom would remain, as it is the liberation of the soul which breaks a person’s real bondage, since it’s the chains of immoral behavior and low-minded thinking that are the real restraints on a life. So though many in high places would like to eliminate the autonomy that is inherently given to each human being, what man-made law has the power to govern his soul? For if a person crosses over the spiritual line of repentance, where his heart has met redemption, not a single government entity can deprive him of the eternal rights and destiny which now sanction his being.
Therefore, if it isn’t outward circumstances which dictate genuine freedom, then any governmental system mankind erects to control the movement of its people cannot achieve total domination because each person still retains the ability to internally decide what he believes is right and true. For once an individual encounters the release from his sin, and discovers a future which extends beyond this lifetime, nothing man sets to inhibit the natural existence of his day to day life can extinguish the hope carried in his heart. For he has then discovered that true emancipation does not come from men, but instead resides in the Giver of life, who Himself bore the shame and iniquity of the whole world so that all who are held in captivity can experience eternal liberation.
Yet, what of this land and its people? For if those who meet in secret are allowed to persist, the pendulum of its governmental system will swing too far left, making it a difficult proposition for its citizens to reinstate the basic rights put forth when this country started; for a web of laws and regulations is being woven to make this next to impossible. So then, the cavalier attitude held by some of this people must change, as they take for granted their right to voice an opinion regarding how their country should flow. But even then, if this idea of reliance on the government as the “caregiver” remains, those who know the prosperity of self-governance will see and feel a radical shift to their existence, as more and more freedom is taken from their hands.
However, there is still a chance to stop the demise of their independence. This people must be willing to stand on the constitutional tenets they have been given. For there are many who believe what its founders established was correct, yet allow the business of life to keep them away when it’s time to have a say. As a result, this expression of freedom does not carry the weight it should in their hearts, and so those moments to speak out (which really count) go by without them making a sound. It’s no wonder then, that the loud cry which should be heard rising up from the midst of this people is diminished, as these significant opportunities slip away without much notice.
Although I do not sit on either side of the aisle, I am opposed to any form of government which attempts to exalt itself above Me by forcing its people to service the “greater good”, or else they’ll receive stiff penalties for disobeying its orders; where its institutions are set as sacred houses filled with the altars of humanistic ideas which are observed as a form of worship, yet keeping its citizens in bondage and forcing them to pay homage by giving up a large portion of what is earned by their own hands. Sadly, the outcome of this nation is bleak if these socialistic practices continue to be embraced. For a man’s life was not meant to be lived under this kind of oppression, where only a few are granted permission to know success.
So then, those who can see the writing on the wall cannot afford to stick their heads in the sand and ignore what is happening around them. For in order to see freedom continue to reign in this land means that My people should not tolerate the premise of Church and state separation any longer.
It is My name alone that can undo what has been set in motion, by invoking My praise over this nation, bringing a change to the dark atmosphere hovering over its land, where the enemy’s approach to divide and conquer has been accepted as a solid plan for running the government. It is time for My own to declare that supreme sovereignty belongs to Me by donning the battle garb of worship which I have given to them for calling down the humanistic walls of this government. So then, praise should go first with the sounds of My triumph proclaimed over this nation. For if My children will rise up from their defeated position and stand on My name alone for the victory, then the swing of this governmental system will return to its founding values.
So then to My own, I say, “Rise up, resist apathy and join the battle!”
