“For it is only through Christ, and Him alone, that you can be cloaked from head to toe with the garments of true righteousness.”
“For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is dismantled, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands. For in this tent we groan, longing to be clothed with our heavenly dwelling, because when we are clothed, we will not be found naked. For while we are in this tent, we groan under our burdens, because we do not wish to be unclothed but clothed, so that our mortality may be swallowed up by life.” – 2 Corinthians 5:1-4
This is what I heard:
“Exposure, exposure, exposure. Thus shall that which was thought to be successfully concealed instead be revealed, for there is no place a man can hide from his wickedness, as even the attitudes of his heart lie plain before Me. For in nakedness does he enter this world, and in nakedness does he remain, unless clothed in the righteousness of Christ. For there is no other garment that man can put on which will be found suitable when facing the judgment to come.
Even still are there those who think themselves impervious to any form of eternal punishment due to the “good” they have done in this world, and so attempt to cloak themselves in their own goodness (as if their good works have the power to cover up all of their sin) and, as such, see no reason to amend their ways. Yet do they stand totally exposed, for they lack the proper attire needed to enter through the gates of My Kingdom. For upon them is absent the unmistakable stain of My Son’s shed blood: that mark of redemption which allows all who bear it to cross over that threshold and into eternal bliss.
So though the remedy to solve their condition of nakedness is simple, yet do these foolish ones still hold fast to the idea that they possess within themselves enough virtue to satisfy My requirement of righteousness and, as such, do they refuse to accept the free gift of salvation that has been offered to all. So while faith in My Son as the Messiah is the only stipulation I require of those who desire to enter My Heavenly Realm, still is My offer of redemption, more often than not, met with rejection. And so, for most of mankind, does their state of nakedness remain unchanged.
And because the tendency of man is to adhere to the lie that “doing good” is enough to garner My approval and thus set them in a favorable state before Me, their naked condition has been readily dismissed, for surely do they regard themselves as fully clothed (as if I couldn’t see right through the tattered garments they tried to assemble with their own hands). As such have they fallen for the enemy’s age old deception which claims that man is good enough on his own, and thus has no need to be clothed in the righteousness of Christ, even though I have clearly stated that to be untrue.
So even though the price which was paid for man to be dressed in the clothes of righteousness was quite costly, still have very few understood the actual value of the sacrifice given so that they could be dressed in that apparel. And since there is very little recognition of the priceless nature of those garments, surely are they easily cast aside as if having no value whatsoever. Thus is the reason so many throughout the generations of man have departed this life in the same state of nakedness as from whence he was birthed.
See then no amount of what is considered by most to be “good works”, shall manifest the desired end result, as the price required to obtain that apparel has already been paid in full. Therefore, those who pursue the path of “good works” as a means to earn the reward of righteousness, shall find that to be a foolish venture, and so shall be absent any covering when before Me they stand. Then apart from the acceptance of My Son as Savior, man shall remain unclothed.
So though, in the temporal sense, public nudity is not a common occurrence, however, in My realm, it is quite the opposite, for here the souls of humanity are often found spiritually naked and absent of any garments at all. Yet sadly, the majority of mankind shall not recognize their state of nakedness until it is too late to become clothed.
Then woe to those who do not take seriously their state of nakedness, and who think their “good works” shall have any effect on their eternal outcome. For apart from accepting My Son as Savior, there is nothing in and of themselves that man can do which shall nullify a single sin that has been counted against him, as it is only faith in Christ alone that anyone can be saved.
Oh what a frightful existence shall these know once their nakedness is fully exposed, for there shall be no hope of redemption left once into eternity they step. However, for those who remain upon this side of that threshold, the hope to lay hold of the garments of righteousness still remains and, as such, should they seize that opportunity without delay so that in the hereafter they are found fully clothed in those righteous robes.
Then let those who have accepted the falsity that your “good works” are enough to secure your eternal destiny, rethink your position. For the adornment of those righteous robes shall you not receive based upon your own merits. Therefore, turn away from that path and turn wholly to My Son, as then shall your nakedness be covered. For surely then shall you have been clothed with the garments of righteousness, and not before. He is the only way that leads to Me, for it is His imputed righteousness that is your ticket in, and nothing more.
Therefore, don’t think to yourself, “I’m okay!”, and then return to your day. For I tell you now, that those who deny My Son in this life shall be denied by Him in the life to come, as you then shall be labeled “illegitimate” and thus cast into the pit. For without the garments of righteousness, you are deemed unfit to dwell as a citizen of My Kingdom.
Then to those who have been misled by the lie that your “good works” are sufficient to rescue you from an eternity of woe, do I say, “Think again, and turn now to the only One who can truly save you! As it is only those who have put their full faith in My Son that shall know redemption from their sins.” Thus do I say to you now, “Turn away from your sins and the evils you have done and, instead, turn to Him for forgiveness. For surely then shall you be found properly clothed and your nakedness no longer exposed. For it is only through Christ, and Him alone, that you can be cloaked from head to toe with the garments of true righteousness.”
