Would a blind man be expected to choose the right path home without some form of assistance? Left on his own, what would prevent this sightless one from stumbling into danger or falling right into a pit? Surely, the hands of “the seeing” would quickly come to the aid of such an indigent soul, intervening in the nick of time to prevent him from knowing a calamitous end.
Why is it then that My children, whose eyes are wide open to the Truth, bear no urgency within for the plight of the spiritually blind, though these lost souls are in a truly desperate state? Should not those who have been forgiven much, upon encountering the perishing, feel compelled to testify of their faith, and how it is that their lives were freed from death’s grip? Yet daily do the lost pass by without even a word of recognition uttered from the mouths of My children, let alone a mention of the way to salvation. For very few who refer to themselves as followers of My Son have even bothered to share His message of love, as surely have these hidden their light away.
Then instead of finding lampstands brightly displayed everywhere My children dwell, I have found very few openly shining their light amidst the darkness. For within these there lies no burden to see the lost saved, as their thoughts are continually focused upon the lesser matters of life. And so it is that the Great Commission, which is to go out and make disciples of all the nations, seems to have all but been forgotten.
Thankfully I have ensured for My Kingdom’s sake that in every generation of man dwells a remnant of true disciples: those who are unashamed to speak the name of Jesus Christ to any and everyone they encounter. However, in the coming days, as the blaze of revival spreads, many more shall bear a deep conviction to see the unregenerate are shown the path to forgiveness, and so shall this concern burn like a fire in their hearts.
Ah, then as the last Great Awakening unfolds with the flames of renewal consuming “the Church”, so shall a heightened compassion for the lost be birthed, where many of My own shall be overcome with a love for others; yet at a depth they had never before known, for surely shall I rekindle the embers of agape love throughout the earth. Then indeed shall it be that multitudes whose spiritual sight was impaired shall suddenly have their vision restored, as many more of My children will then, without fear of man’s reprisals, boldly preach the Good News for all who are near to hear. Yet it is gentleness and humility that shall govern their approach, as absent shall be the influence and agendas of the institutional church.
So then ready yourselves, Beloved, for the promised resurgence is about to fully engulf the entire earth. However, you needn’t wait for this wave of renewal to wash over you in order to have a burden for the lost flood your heart. Ask the Lord of the Harvest to stir up this passion even now. Do not use your current lack of zeal as an excuse to avoid following My initial call to action, for all who hail from My Kingdom are conscripted to this same commission, which is: to seek and save the lost. Whether or not you hold a fervent love for the fallen, the fulfillment of this mandate is still your obligation.
Listen up, dear ones: stop wasting time and take seriously My words. For “many” are those caught in the clutches of darkness, yet are truly blind to their dire state, and therefore, are in desperate need of having another come alongside them to illuminate the reality of their sinful condition, and share the meaning of saving grace.
Then adjust your gaze so that it no longer rests upon the “trivial” and “useless”. Instead, affix your sights upon the more important matters of My Kingdom currently happening upon the earth. For I tell you now, that indeed is this season ripe and ready for a great harvest.
“You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a basket. Instead, they set it on a stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” -Matthew 5:14-16
