“The chickens have come home to roost”, in the current political sense, means that many of the bad decisions made by former and present bureaucrats in this country are now manifesting and being negatively felt by the public. These choices, made by former heads of state, which, at the time, seemed to most Americans to be solid, held ramifications which were purposefully delayed for several years, to a time when those who made the decisions would no longer hold that seat of power, revealing something more sinister: that these very alliances were made by those who are, in truth, enemies of this democracy.
But now, certain of these trade agreements, which forcibly placed tighter regulations on the livelihood of many citizens, have found this country in a distinct disadvantage, diverting the prosperity and wealth I intended for this country and its people overseas. These deals are now coming back on the American people in the form of economic hardship.
So then it is not the sitting president (Donald Trump), who is to blame, but those who came before him, both Republicans and Democrats alike, as some of these considered to be on the Right had already joined the more progressive camp, where, philosophically, the world functions without borders, and every nation sits under one flag. So though some of these agreements were made long ago and forgotten by most, the full revelation of these bargains and treaties were purposefully obscured until a later date, for this, after all, is how the troubling game of politics is played. It’s a contest where the true motives of side deals are made in the shadows, preventing the taxpayers from knowing how his or her hard earned dollars are really being used; details about the true pretext of the agreement lying buried underneath the lines and lines of legal jargon. Over the years, many of these accords were struck which, at the time seemed, at least on the surface, innocuous and beneficial to the country.
However, the chickens have come home to roost, and the dishonest actions and words of those who were once in charge shall come back to haunt these men with the harm that has now come against this country. And though this current president has hoped to undo many of these side deals so that American jobs and money stay in this country, he was unable to fully get in front of this before the virus hit the nation.
Therefore, the chickens have come home to roost, and those presidents and government officials who participated in the trade agreements which stole from the prosperity of the American people won’t be able to escape their conscience as they see their fellow citizens walking through financial hardship. For who can escape this inner voice when it speaks up and reminds a person of their wrongdoing?
While it is plain that the man sitting in the oval office is a flawed individual (just as all men are), he is not to bear the full blame for what happens in the days ahead. And though his decision to halt the country and then delay its reopening play a role in the struggles ahead, the choices made by those who came before him should be counted as facilitators of the challenging days which lay before this nation. But though some would still like to place the fault for this crisis squarely on the President’s shoulders, there is plenty of blame to go around, for as past trade agreements and this pandemic collide, the perfect storm of financial disparity has formed.
So who then is responsible when the atmosphere is filled with turbulent clouds that threaten to bring a great deal of damage; especially when the contributing factors, which have increased the ferocity of this tempest, lie just beneath the surface?
To plainly see the reality of what lies ahead is easy for those who, by leaving out any partisan views that might skew their opinions, look at these current circumstances from all sides. To seek out the solution, the right and left must be willing to set aside their biases so that a rejoining can happen, where the divisive attitudes pushed through politics are displaced so that the deep chasm dug out between the two parties is bridged with brotherly love. Yet, who is to lay in position the first plank of this arch? Who is willing to humbly reach their hand across the aisle and greet those considered opponents with the firm handshake of genuine friendship?
For in these rare days when everyone is experiencing hardship, those who live under the flag of this nation should be unified instead of divided. But because those in charge have discovered subtle ways to have their message heard, it is a difficult task to escape their troubling-making voices. For these disingenuous politicians, who embrace the use of manipulative rhetoric, always have a different agenda than they are presenting; which is reason enough for the people of this country to reject any language that pits one against another.
So then how can a people, who have become estranged from one another, rebuild their communities without being influenced by the fictitious claims coming from the politicians who benefit most when the country is divided?
The charge, therefore, is to view an individual simply as another human being, without adding judgment or prejudice, even though he or she may have differing political ideologies. Relationships must be reconsidered, as the space taken up in a person’s thoughts by politics is, in today’s society, disproportionately high. Consider again the more noble things to dwell on in this life; thoughts which can fill a person’s heart with such hope that any bad news coming from Washington cannot change a pleasant disposition, and because he or she knows the eternal destiny that awaits is the real prize. As a result, being downcast in spirit is rare, as they have apprehended such a great reward, knowing that to be absent from the body means to be with Me, where the troubles of man can no longer touch them.
And though very few will be spared from feeling the effects of this nationwide shutdown, none should look to Washington for the help to get back on their feet. Although those who are in charge think this solution will work at re-stimulating the economy, the truth is that some important steps were overlooked that could have jump-started the country’s economic flow again. But to err is human, for even those who are esteemed by the public, fall from the good graces offered by man; making the search for a single person to blame for this season of adversity an profitable use of anyone’s time.
Then, wouldn’t it be more admirable to fill these days with uplifting thoughts, where little attention is given to the who, what, why, and where of politics? Too much focus has already been directed towards these officials and how they are going to fix this mess. And though many who sit on the sidelines are paid to offer their opinions on what should be done, far too often they only criticize the efforts being made. Listening to these voices just adds to the confusion already running rampant through the streets of this nation, as the true goal of these political pundits and media personalities is more than likely aimed towards the next election, where the objective is seeing their own party take the most ground.
Because both sides play this game, those who listen to these voices must bear this in mind and not take what they’ve heard at face value, for a person of wisdom evaluates every factor before deciding where they stand on a matter. So then, consider the source before assuming what is being reported as accurate and not having been tainted by the commentator’s personal views.
So while experts from one side of the aisle are saying the effects of the virus have been overblown, and the other side is crying out that not enough has been done, it is those caught in the middle of this political volley that have been impacted the hardest by the abusive use of power. And so because both right and left are guilty of engaging in this game of misuse, the citizenry of this nation will have to carry the fiscal burden of the self-serving decisions made by their past and present leaders, for truly the chickens have come home to roost.
However, though this narrative depicts an unsettling outcome for most of America, it doesn’t mean this nation is beaten and without the hope of recovery. What the people who live under this flag should realize is that the true source of life and happiness cannot be found in the government. The idea of a more expansive bureaucracy should, therefore, be avoided and cast off, for it was those who sit in high places which caused this crisis to begin with.
The light shining at the end of this dark tunnel is not beckoning from the country’s capital, for the source of this shining beacon cannot be found in the solutions offered by the right or the left side of this issue. Unless both parties begin working together, the atmosphere of stagnation will remain. For what positive outcome can be expected when both sides continue fostering a negative attitude amongst the population?
Therefore, do not look to man’s solutions to solve the current crisis in America, for I alone am the only hope this nation has for recovery. Then no matter what answer is offered as the cure to fixing what ails the country, these suggestions are only that, and have no power because they are only mere words spoken by politicians who have no intention of reinstituting the freedoms which have been taken. Then, help must come from someone who holds higher authority than those who have been governing this nation, for to see her fully restored shall require My intervention.
Seek Me, and Me alone, to bring about the needed change, as I have already conceived a plan that shall put this nation back on the correct path, where partisan politicians are the thing of the past, for those I establish to lead in the days ahead shall owe their allegiance to My Kingdom, which is why My name shall once again be exalted in these United States of America.
