The unregenerate are driven like chattel in unison with the ideas of popular culture, but amongst My own this is not to be so, for they are to be set apart from the things of this world. Yet even now are the prevailing ideologies of man found running rampant throughout the Church, for many who call Me “Father” have embraced the world’s philosophies and, as such, have formed a partnership with darkness.
And so like a murky pool is the Church. For the living water flowing through her has been polluted with false doctrines and fleshly indulgences. Thus is her appearance now much like that of the world and, therefore, the pursuit of holiness has become a rather foreign concept amongst My children, for most have yet to comprehend what it actually means to live as did Christ.
So while all My children are called to forsake the ways of this world, still do many act as if this were not true, running to and fro seeking to satisfy the desires of their flesh instead of resisting its pull. For the discipline of dying to self is not something they have been taught, as most adhere to the motto which says, “all of my actions are covered by grace”.
See then is “grace” thought to be the caveat that allows My children to live as they please and, as such, do they think themselves impervious to any form of lasting consequence when they operate in disobedience, as if grace” acts like a shield which keeps away My judgment from being issued upon their lives. And so has worldliness been given permission to dwell within the Church.
It is for precisely that reason that a large portion of My flock see no cause to amend their ways, and thus let go of their former selves by leaving that which has passed behind. However, most amongst that segment of My flock have grown quite comfortable in their sin, and so to change now would require a radical shift in their thinking. Yet to leave those of My own in that ungodly state is not My desire. Thus have I come in this hour to bring about a re-awakening, where those already found in Christ are shaken out of their stupor, for indeed are many acting as if they have fallen back asleep.
Then the false ideas and misconceptions about what it means to actually follow Christ shall be exposed as a truer understanding is brought forth, for an inaccurate rendering of the Truth has been accepted by many. See then does the mandate which was issued long ago still apply to believers today, for surely was it clearly stated that they are to be in this world but not of it. Thus are they to act and think like Heavenly citizens instead of those who come from this earthly realm.
Yet because the overall spiritual state of this current generation of the Church dwells in immaturity, the borders of My Kingdom have not advanced as I had intended. Thus is a shaking coming that shall ripple through the entire Church, for I mean to reignite a passion for the lost amongst My children, where more than just a few have taken seriously the Great Commission. For these shall have then rededicated their lives to the cause of Christ, and so determined in their hearts to live a life that is wholly pleasing unto Me.
Ah then the shaking I had promised would come upon the Church has already begun, yet its tremors have mostly gone by unnoticed, for only a small number within the Church have actually been affected. However, in the days just ahead, the intensity of this shaking shall be greatly magnified, as My hand brings Churchwide disruption.
Therefore all should be on high alert, for I have come to do a new thing in your midst! Yet to see its full manifestation shall require a significant mindset shift in the Church, and so must this time of shaking ensue. Prepare then, dear ones, for indeed do turbulent days lie just ahead!
