There are a litany of reasons My children partner with the enemy, where they give him permission to enter their lives. So whether he is allowed in because of physical trauma or an emotional wound suffered, or maybe it’s because they embraced the world’s teachings and philosophies in their earlier years, at some point in each life he came knocking on the door of their heart and was allowed to enter into their lives.
Though many of My own walk through their days unaware of his presence, he remains as a constant that will not leave until he is asked. Yet, so few of My own are aware of his existence, and so are blinded to the closeness in proximity he has with them. Many of My own believe that once they were saved, the enemy fled. But what these fail to comprehend is that though they retain the authority over him, they must use this standing to kick him out of their inner man. For though they are not possessed, the enemy is still connected to them; that is until they recognize the full liberation they have been given through the death of My Son. So because these evil spirits won’t concede any territory they’ve stolen without a fight, quite a few of My own have left well enough alone by either arguing that it is too late to change, or because they’ve been so steeped in religion, that the idea of active spiritual forces has been diminished.
So then, most walk around with the unneeded weight of extra chains because they have yet to realize the ‘dark partnerships’ that still exist in their lives. For if at some time or another, one of My own was confronted with an untenable situation, if they listened to the words of, say, “fear”, and agreed with his position on the situation, then unbeknownst to them they made a binding agreement with this enemy, which gave him the permission to maintain a position in their life. And though they have known salvation, until they are firm with this evil principality by breaking this contract, he will remain and stay rooted in their lives, tormenting them every chance he has, for he derives a sick pleasure in causing My children pain.
But because some of My own have grown used to his voice in their ears, they have mistaken it for their own, and so unknowingly do his bidding, for the words he uses appeals to their flesh. So then, anytime a situation arises that challenges the comfort of these evil forces, where the one being bound is given the opportunity to know greater freedom, thoughts filled with ‘resistance’ are perpetrated in the mind of this individual. And because what is being heard sounds so familiar, this evil logic is again accepted and agreed with, so that the partnership continues on.
However, My own were not meant to live in such bondage, for My Son paid a very high price so all could know complete liberation and no longer be held as captives. But it is the internal struggle that is missed by many as the real battleground to fight. For it is this inner territory that must be taken back and released into the rightful hands of its owner. So though there are evil principalities that fill the atmosphere around this world, the major fight for My own (the place where most will contend) is battling against the enemies they already carry within. For ridding themselves of any evil combatants must be taken seriously. Therefore, their own thoughts should be examined more closely to see if what is being projected is in alignment with the principles of My Kingdom or if a more selfish agenda has formed in their mind. If it’s the latter, this should be a telling sign that the enemy is hoping to influence their decisions so that the choices made are more in line with his plans.
For deception is how he operates: by deceiving My own through the dissemination of lies that seem reasonable, and some that even border on the truth, containing just enough accuracy that some of the most discerning are still duped by him because their flesh likes what he is suggesting, and so will yield to him.
This is why My own must be vigilant and keep a close watch on their thoughts because here is where the enemy’s plots are exposed. For if My own would practice discernment over the ideas that pop into their mind, then the revelation of these forces at work within their being would be known, allowing them to take the upper hand and dismiss these interlopers from their territory. For though there are times when the battle is for outward ground, the fight is still always fought through prayer and declaration on a supernatural level. For even if there is a face to face disagreement with another, the ones who are My own in the argument must step back from the situation and ask Me to expose the real enemy, which is not the other person, but the true foe is the evil voice they have partnered with; it may even be the poor choice of simply listening to the enemy. Either way, the issue at hand should be tackled through the unseen, for there is found the origin of the conflict, where the real struggle lies.
So then those who stand opposed to each other should make every effort to find the correct resolution: one that is rooted in the peace of My Kingdom. For then the enemy will have no place to lodge his foot and create the space between them, filled with contempt and offense. Therefore, the naivete of some who are My own should be exchanged for this wisdom: that the enemy is still influencing their thinking and decisions because his voice is still speaking into their ears and his words are being accepted.
This being said, My desire is that they take proper care of their heart by examining their conduct and motives to see whether their actions and attitudes are being sourced from My Spirit, or from the evil one. For as they make the effort to do this, then the enemy, who has been lurking around, will easily be exposed and his tactics readily understood. Although he is somewhat clever and his strategies are known to be cunning, he is no match for the one walking in real wisdom and discernment, as those who have sought out a ‘Heavenly perspective’ are given eyes to see in the Spirit, becoming very much aware of when the enemy is causing trouble.
They have also found that the way to subdue a struggle is by first approaching it from a supernatural position, because they now know experientially that all must bow to the name of My Son and surrender to My will alone. It is then that the enemy, who has been using another person to attack, will have to cease from his activity, as the struggle (or issue) that has arisen can be easily countered, because the One now running the show will be My Spirit, Who promotes only peace. So those who have partnered with His voice are instead, not troubled by any situation, for they know that when His presence fills the atmosphere, there is no room for enemy spirits. Although He is gentle, His countenance is commanding; He knows the position He holds. Therefore, when He enters the picture, the enemy cannot retake the space My Spirit has acquired, unless the one He partners with yields and gives up the ground gained.
Remember however, that unless the enemy is allowed back in, he is blocked out. And though he may dance about for a bit looking for the way to be let back in, My Spirit is stronger and will not forfeit this prize on His own. For He will remain in position as a source of strength and guidance to bring full deliverance for each of My children, so that their lives can be lived without inner tribulation, as they will no longer be berated by the enemy within their soul.
So then My children ought to heed this instruction and remember that when a difficulty or trying situation arises, it is best to first examine themselves to make sure they are of the same mind as Me. And if not, the first point of the battle is in their own being. For once their thoughts have aligned with My own, what they are facing can be better handled. Then the others involved in the situation will not be seen as the real foe because it will be understood that their partnership with evil spirits is what’s driving the show. Therefore, the true opposition to contend with must be fought on their knees, by the heart of one that is willing to stand in the gap so that the other person in the conflict might then truly be set free.
