The Real Trojan Horse Of The 2024 Election

Recently, while I was sitting with the Lord, I saw an image of the Trojan Horse, referred to in Homer’s classic tale of The Odyssey. In the story, the well-fortified city of Troy had been under siege by the Greeks for ten long years. Although the people of Troy were safe behind its impenetrable walls, they were, nonetheless, weary of the battle...

Even You, Ron DeSantis, Even You

Even you, Ron DeSantis, even you, are guilty of colluding with the enemy, for surely did you agree to end human life shortly after conception, deeming this limitation on abortion to be acceptable. And though you claim to hold a pro-life stance, still are you allowing the preborn to be murdered under your governance, for you signed that bill which...

Speak Now Or Forever Hold Your Peace

I heard the Lord say  "Speak Now Or Forever Hold Your Peace", then He continued: How long, America, did you think I would let this attack upon My Sovereignty go on before answering? Indefinitely? I think not! Then what shall become of this nation, if there is a collective agreement that abortion can continue to lawfully exist upon her shores?...

FAQs

Abortion isn't in the Scriptures. Or, is it?

Answer: Yes, abortion is addressed in the Bible… however, not in the way most Christians expect. The first mention of abortion is in Exodus 1:16 but it has been, until recently, lost in translation.

Abortion is the "Law of the Land". Doesn't that settle it?

Answer: No, it does not settle it. Just because a law is put into place does not make the law right.. In fact, the Biblical witness indicates that loyalty to God can often mean disobedience to the laws of a land, even the direct command of a king.

What about compassion?

Answer: Yes but no. The terms “gospel” and “compassion” are commonly used to pad a Christian’s pro-abortion argument. But using these terms is not as coherent of a defense as one might think.

Reframing the Abortion Argument in the Context of the Kingdom of Heaven (Part 1)

”Now in those days, John the Immerser came proclaiming in the Judean wilderness, saying, “Metanoia! For the kingdom of heaven has come near!”“ -‭‭Matthew‬ ‭3‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ”And do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, so that you may approve what is the good and well-pleasing and perfect will of God.“...

Reframing the Abortion Argument in the Context of the Kingdom of Heaven (Part 2)

“What an epoch it was! What a meaning lay in the metanoia that was then proclaimed! “The noetic faculty, or the faculty of shaping and conceiving things under their true relations,” entered now upon its work, and the issue was to be a revolution in the whole human conception of life. Christ substituted His own wisdom for the wisdom of the world...

The Right To Abstain

“So we must go out to him outside the camp, bearing his reproach. For here we do not have a permanent city, but we seek the city that is to come.” -Hebrews 13:13–14   Democracy is a fascinating thing, especially in the context of a Constitutional Republic. What “American democracy” has become is even more curious. This hybrid has bred...

Lowering The Standards

Prologue   I\’d be remiss to not address the events that have transpired in recent weeks. What with the RNC and DNC Conventions coming and going, candidates dropping out of the presidential race—only to find themselves as part of another campaign—as well as remarks (both past and present) made by said candidates, it all seems […]

The System Is Down

Hardware versus Software When there are isolated malfunctions and separate errors in a system, it is generally the individual component, mechanism, and/or device—a.k.a. the hardware—that is evaluated and either repaired, replaced, or recycled. However, when there are malfunctions and errors that are widespread, occurring frequently in a large number of components, mechanisms, and/or devices (the […]

Unforeseen Consequences

In this glorious modern age, people seem all too eager to jump into things. From relationships and marriages, to credit cards and bank loans—even signing up for a phone plan just to have the latest and greatest smartphone on the market. Now more than at any other point in recorded history, people seem to be […]
