All Is Well

As I sat in the Lord’s presence around 8:00 pm on the night of the election, I received a word. But before I did, I also saw a few things.  The first thing I saw was the map of the United States. It was lit up, like you see when flying overhead at night. As I watched, starting with the East coast and moving westward, the power began to go out...

An Obstructionist

The Lord reminded me of a vision I received back in March of this year. [I was taken to the spiritual battlefield over abortion, where I saw the nation's capital. In front of it stood a thick line of demonic forces, acting almost like a wall. Suddenly a fracture appeared in the line which caused the enemy’s forces to divide into smaller factions...

Tremors: A Song For The Sons Of The Shadows

To the sons of the Shadows: I put you on notice. Time. You have been given ample time. Plenty of time. More than enough time. Yet you have not taken Me seriously. Why? Because you do not know Me. So you do not fear or honor Me. You speak of One you do not know. You claim to be My mouthpiece. You parade yourselves as...

FAQs

Abortion isn't in the Scriptures. Or, is it?

Answer: Yes, abortion is addressed in the Bible… however, not in the way most Christians expect. The first mention of abortion is in Exodus 1:16 but it has been, until recently, lost in translation.

Abortion is the "Law of the Land". Doesn't that settle it?

Answer: No, it does not settle it. Just because a law is put into place does not make the law right.. In fact, the Biblical witness indicates that loyalty to God can often mean disobedience to the laws of a land, even the direct command of a king.

What about compassion?

Answer: Yes but no. The terms “gospel” and “compassion” are commonly used to pad a Christian’s pro-abortion argument. But using these terms is not as coherent of a defense as one might think.

Signs Of The Times Part III

One of the advantages that modern astronomy has over its predecessors is the advancement in telescopic and computing technologies. While ancient astronomers had access to primitive versions of these tools, the majority of their work was done using the naked eye and mathematics. Modern astronomers don’t have...

Signs Of The Times Part IV

We ended Part III with a question: what does all this have to do with believers today? While it’s fair, the question itself needs some rephrasing. Genesis 1:14-15 states the ongoing function—the purpose—of the heavenly bodies. A stated purpose given no indication of an expiration date. With this in mind, the better way to put the above question...

By The Consent Of The Governed

{Updated and revised: July 10, 2024}   The Proposition:   It makes sense, doesn’t it?   By the consent of the governed. Certainly as freewill agents with the ability under God to choose our own life’s destiny (even if it leads to our ultimate demise and destruction), it can be said without fear of contradiction […]

Stop Speaking Such Damned Nonsense

“The thief comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but I have come that you might have life, and life in all of its fullness.” John 10:10   “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.” Jeremiah 1:5 […]

More Than Mere Semantics

Intro:   It would seem that in our modern society words are no longer the fixed building blocks of language they have been since, well, the creation of verbal and written communication. Indeed, it\’s more than mere semantics, as words and their usage have become something more fluid and amorphous, shaped into whatever the speaker […]
