“Those who want to be rich, however, fall into temptation and become ensnared by many foolish and harmful desires that plunge them into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. By craving it, some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows.”-1 Timothy 6:9-10
“No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.” -Matthew 6:24
This is what I heard:
“The dark underbelly of the Church has been exposed. But what has really changed? For the love of money has yet to be rooted out, thus does Mammon remain like a king who is enthroned upon the hearts of those children. And so are they attempting to prevent Me from toppling over the altar they have built to honor him, for surely are they unwilling to lay down that sacred cow.
Ah then, shall the shaking of the Church continue, for I mean to bring down every high tower they have erected which does not bring glory to My Name alone. For I have already said that I will not share My glory with another, nor will I play second fiddle to any other god. For all others are inferior to My position of Supremacy, for indeed shall I forever be seated upon the Highest throne.
So though, in the coming days, many more who hold places of prominence within the Church shall be exposed as being unfit to lead, yet shall they, too, resist the correction I am bringing upon them. For their love of money shall override doing what righteousness commands, as they, too, are surely unwilling, even now, to die unto themselves.
Yet should it be understood by the Church that I mean to clear out the corruption that dwells amongst you and, as such, have come to drive out the spirit of Mammon everywhere he can be found; for like a weed is that darkness deeply entrenched within your entire structure. For that which the law allows have your leaders abused, for surely have they listened to the lies of that wicked spirit.
[Vision: I saw in large, bold, black numbers “501(c)(3)”, and then saw it on top of the IRS form that churches and ministries file in order to gain tax exempt status.]
Oh how the mighty shall fall, for indeed have they positioned themselves to take a great tumble, and so shall know a sudden and rapid descent from the lofty platforms they have built. Thus shall I take away that which was entrusted to them, for surely have they used their spiritual gifts to serve themselves instead of as I had intended, as indeed has the love of money gripped their hearts.
Yet even amongst those Church leaders whose transgressions have already been exposed can the spirit of Mammon be found, for they have yet to break their partnership with him, as his presence have they not yet detected. As such do his evil suggestions heavily influence their decisions, for surely are they eager to maintain the flow of their revenue stream and prevent its volume from decreasing; and so is their first inclination to protect the platform above all else, thus have they said what they believe is needed to keep their ministries intact.
Then to see any kind of meaningful and lasting change happen within the Church, the spirit of Mammon must be cast out and every agreement made with him severed. For if he is allowed to remain, the same evils currently plaguing the Church will only continue, as the root of that evil is still firmly planted within her ground.
I tell you now, “That idol must be torn down, for to be truly devoted to Me the worship of Mammon must cease. For it is still true that the heart of man is incapable of serving two masters at a time, as loyalty to one shall always win out over the other; and that one usually being the master’s voice who sounds more appealing to the flesh.“
Ah then, do I say to My children, “A thorough cleansing of the Church has commenced, and which shall continue until every altar she has built to honor that false god Mammon is broken and the gateway which bid him entrance is shut. For as long as that portal is left open, how can accountability really be established? Thus must the use of the 501(c)(3) by the Church cease to be, for that continued practice shall only serve to foster the fraudulent and abusive behavior that has recently been exposed within her midst.”
Therefore, do I say, “It is time to dismantle the current system and structure of the Church, for that blueprint was designed by the hands of man and, as such, was its conception riddled with flaws. Thus am I calling for a season of rebuilding, where a new edifice is forged, one that better resembles the initial blueprint which My hand commissioned, and which was not modeled after the structure of a corporation. For the assemblies of My children are not to be run like the systems of this world.”
And so do I say, “It is time to return to the ancient ways, where the gatherings of My children are a humble affair and no longer institutionalized, where all stand on equal footing, for all recognize Christ as the head and have bowed to His Lordship. Yet who shall make such a daring move, for to do so is sure to be costly?”
Then do I say to the current Church leaders and ministry heads, “A radical shift must now occur within your normal mode of operation, as a complete departure from that corrupt system must be made so that the spirit of Mammon no longer has any standing amongst you. For surely has the current system of the Church been proven a failure, and thus to maintain it shall eventually lead to the same results. As such must a dismantling now be done so that the rebuilding I desire can occur.”
Therefore do I say, “Take heed of My words and obey My instructions! For surely a dismantling of the current system and structure cannot now be avoided, as the “old” cannot co-exist with the “new” I am now bringing forth within My Body. As such must your 501(c)(3) status be utterly discarded. For I declare, “the days of the Church operating as a corporation are over! Thus let the dismantling of the 501(c)(3) commence!”
