The symbol that has stood for freedom is under attack by enemies from within and outside her borders. Then who is left that will fight for her honor when it appears all have turned against her?
So while she readily came to the aid of those once considered allies, how quickly did these friends turn to foes when it better served their own interests to do so? Then alone does she stand, for there are none now willing to come to her rescue, as those powers, both foreign and domestic, have conspired to bring Lady Liberty down to her knees, and as such, have plotted to undermine her strength and rob her of all dignity.
And so from all sides has an assault been launched that is meant to erase her borders and cripple her economy. Indeed then do difficult days lie ahead for this nation called “America”, as the atmosphere shall grow increasingly more tumultuous. Already has a thick bank of ominous dark clouds begun building just off in the distance, signaling that a rather intense storm is brewing. Then like loud claps of thunder shall angry clashes be heard among her people as frustration boils over into hostility, leading some to commit senseless acts of violence against their fellow countrymen, for the spirit of anger will have gotten the better of them.
However, though it may look to most as if America has lost all hope and that surely her enemies shall prevail, this is not the case, for I have a different outcome in mind, one that sees America remain intact and all of her adversaries are driven out. Even still, difficult days shall ensue, for these enemy combatants won’t surrender without a fight, especially when victory seems so close at hand.
Then surely shall the sense of uncertainty already hanging over this nation grow more dense, becoming like a thick blanket of fog, for the future many had planned seems to have fallen from sight, as numerous are the storehouses that shall be wholly depleted without any promise of recovery.
Yet in the midst of this storm, I am still Lord, and as such, My children can be assured of safe passage through to the other side. “Never to leave or forsake them” is still My pledge, and therefore, straight through the middle of these more difficult days have I cut a path just as I did with Israel when she crossed the Red Sea.
Hear Me then, dear ones who dwell upon America’s soil: I have not abandoned neither you nor this nation. Therefore, you have every reason to hope for better days, for did I not tell you before that a turbulent season was coming, one that would be severe? However, because of My mercy, I have shortened its length, for indeed I have heard your prayers.
Be ready then to face the approaching storm with unwavering faith, remembering, as you stand, that My higher purposes are at work not only in your own lives but also in this nation called America as well.
“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” -Isaiah 41:10
