When the Welsh Revival began, it wasn’t within large congregational gatherings where this flame was first ignited, for My Spirit swept through a humble group who sincerely and earnestly sought after Me: those who were longing to taste more of My goodness.
And so, My power first fell upon these eager hearts, and then rapidly spread across their land like an unquenchable fire, one so intense, that those who drew near its heat were also caught up in its path.
Yet this move of My Spirit did not stop with this small region but was also ignited a short time later in this nation (America). And likewise, when the fire of revival started here, like the strike of a match, its ignition burst within a small group of faithful believers whose only agenda was a visitation from their heavenly Father.
Then what of today, for the prophets have foretold of another resurgence coming to the Church? Although this next revival has been proclaimed to be the Greatest Awakening known to the world, does this mean its origins will start differently than before, or, shall the catalyst for this resurgence begin once again in the modest fellowships of My children who simply long to be in My Presence?
Then from far and wide My Spirit shall come searching for those who want to experience a deeper expression of Heaven here on earth; those who want to know what it means to walk by My Spirit, and who are ready to live a ‘Kingdom First’ life. He is seeking those who, with boldness, will share their faith because their hearts have become so impassioned with love for the lost in this world, that it physically pains them when they are hindered from speaking the ‘Good News’.
But when My Spirit comes to this land, will He find any waiting: those who were anticipating his arrival and so prepared for His visit?
Though many may speak of this next revival, most believers have been caught back up in their old patterns of service and performance, believing this to be the avenue My Spirit would choose to breathe fire into My Church. Ah, but this is not the flash point of combustion, though its blaze shall catch fire in many congregations. This next move I am ushering in shall not be started from a large platform boasting a huge congregation, nor can it be forced by special worship services. Rather, His arrival has already been determined, and the direction of His flame has been established, for He only ever acts in accordance with My will.
Then, a fiery wind is about to ignite across the Church, but His flames shall touch those who have opened their hearts and their homes, having gathered with no agenda except to be with Me. For among these shall come the great outpouring of My Spirit which shall then spread from the Church outward into their streets and communities, bringing many into My fold through salvation.
Therefore, let the humble gather. Let them meet together in the blessed fellowship of the Son, and under whose authority are given permission to worship as My Body without the explicit direction of ‘pastors’ or ‘leaders’; where any who belong to Me have been given the right of assembly, as all are ultimately under the covering of My Son, who is the head of the Church.
So gather together: join as one, and abandon any notion of what should be done. Just come together to enjoy time in My Presence with the brethren.
