When a lampstand is positioned correctly, the light it emits can fill even the darkest corner, radiating like a beacon of hope to those who are searching for a safe haven: that portal of refuge where their soul can finally know rest.
So though believers are called to shine My love in every place their feet may trod, I have specific assignments marked for each one, and so have chosen the best location for them to inhabit, where the light they carry can have a greater impact on the world around them. It is for that reason that My own are asked to occupy certain regions and communities, for they have been divinely equipped to advance those borders of My Kingdom. So in eternity past, I predetermined where each lampstand would fit best to serve My higher purposes. And since all that I do has been carefully thought through, when I request that one, two, or maybe a few settle in a particular area, these children can confidently step forward without concern, as their every need has already been met. Understand that those who align themselves with My will, walk in favor and blessing, and therefore, should expect to see doors open easily, those which would be barred shut to others.
So with this thought in mind, that the lives of My children were meant to be lived in unison with the plan I designed, My own should seek My wise counsel before heading any direction, as I have already discerned the perfect course to take.
Know then, that it is short-sighted to think the place where you call home is inconsequential to My overall vision for your life. For to see the fullness of what I imagined break forth, a supernatural collaboration is involved so that you always remain correctly positioned with your feet solidly planted in accordance with My will. While you may have run ahead without first asking Me where to step, it is never too late for My hand to shift your life back on the right track so that you wind up exactly where you were created to be: that divinely appointed position where your light will have the room to shine its brightest.
Then seek Me out on this matter and ask for My guidance. For some of you were meant to dwell in other cities, states, and even nations than where you currently find yourselves. Don’t assume you know, if you haven’t bothered to ask, for My answer might just surprise you, and lead you to a distant land or send you back to your home town (though, for some, only for a season). Yet regardless of where you are found, the goal should remain a constant, which is: to radiate the warmth of My affections to a lost and weary world.
“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16
