I don’t know if this happens to any of you, but quite often I will wake up to the Lord singing a song in my spirit. It happened the other morning as I heard the repeating of the chorus to an old hymn “Bringing In The Sheaves”.
This song was inspired by Psalm 126, which is included in the Psalms of Ascent, describing a believer’s ascent into God’s presence. This particular psalm actually retells the captives’ return from exile in Babylon, remembering God’s sudden deliverance which set them free.
However, the verse that the Lord highlighted was verse 6, which says:
“He who goes out weeping, bearing the seed for sowing, shall come home with shouts of joy, bringing his sheaves with him.” Psalm 126:6, reminding us that even in difficult times we must press on and continue to spread the Gospel message.
Then I heard this…
The “Latter Days” are indeed upon the earth for My Son’s death, resurrection, and then ascension ensured that the delineation line between the days of promise and the days of fulfillment was firmly affixed upon the chronological timeline which governs the universe. Although it is the ‘last days’ in which mankind dwells, it is not the final days that are happening now, where the second coming of My Son shall very soon be ushered in.
So while, recently, darkness seems to have rapidly spread, its advancement will abruptly be impeded by the resurgent wave of agape love that is about to envelop the entire world. For the heightened sense, amongst My own, of outrage and angst over societal depravity and perceived injustice shall suddenly be washed away, to then be replaced by an overwhelming burden for the unsaved, and those still held captive by demonic chains. Therefore, now is not the hour of My Son’s reappearing but a time of great harvest, where a vast multitude shall be joined to the blessed fellowship of the Savior, who is Christ the King.
And so shall the boundaries of My Kingdom know a season of great enlargement. For just as it was at the advent of the early church, so too will it be again, where new souls shall be added daily to My numbers; yet this occurrence of multiplication shall significantly exceed any that came before.
These days should not be viewed from a position of discouragement or alarm over the gross evil that is being exposed throughout the world. Instead, the hearts of the elect should be found positioned in a state of eager anticipation as they await the furtherance of the revival that has already begun unfolding upon the earth. For truly in these days shall there be heard from near and far much rejoicing, as those who had sown in hardship and adversity shall reap an unexpected, yet bountiful, harvest where the blessing of answered prayers shall suddenly appear.
See then the political and societal tension mounting in the global atmosphere is simply the early birthing pangs of the “Greatest Awakening” that mankind shall ever know! Yet before its full appearance, there indeed shall be much turmoil and friction throughout many regions, with neighbor pitted against neighbor over supposed slights, for surely shall those who are in league with the devil continue to stir up strife by recanting, again and again, his divisive lies.
However, up from this fallow ground of civil unrest shall the blooms of hope burst forth, as surely in the hearts of many shall those dormant seeds of truth which were planted long ago suddenly spring to life, causing those who were once aliens and strangers to become My sons and daughters; for indeed shall these then be convinced that Jesus Christ is the true Son of the living God.
And so it is that amongst the current inhabitants of the earth, shall a vast multitude not only bear witness to, but also be partakers in, this mass harvest of souls, as those who shall help to gather in the sheaves. For within every nation and tribe have I come to recover those that are Mine.
Then what has long been awaited shall at last manifest, where upon all points of the earth shall there be a convergence of revivals’ flame, igniting a blaze so intense that it shall quickly spread, overtaking in its path even the most unyielding ground: those hearts thought to be too hardened by sin to know repentance. Yet even amongst one’s such as these shall salvation be born.
Hear Me then, beloved, for has not Providence smiled upon you, as surely has this generation of the elect been chosen to experience this promised Great Awakening? Therefore, rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for very soon and in just a little while shall you see with your own eyes the redemption of many souls.
“Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy. Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them.” -Psalm 126:5-6
