An Artesian well
A flow of pure water
Uncontaminated with pollutants.
Fresh
Clean
Supernatural in nature.
A deep well from which the thirsty are able to partake, such is the spiritual reservoir the Body of Christ was called to be.
Yet defiled is her water
Poisoned
Toxic
Littered with the impurities of false doctrines and religious dogmas.
Constrained
Hindered
A measured stream
As such is the move of My Spirit within the Church, for the need to control has hampered His ability to freely flow.
Parched
Dry
Almost barren
Like a virtual wasteland is this generation of believers, for the quenching of Holy Spirit has created a spiritual drought.
Ineffective
Idle
A stagnant pool.
For the internal stirring of Holy Spirit has long been ignored.
Pushed down
Suppressed
He is treated as if an unwelcome guest.
Unpredictable
Intangible
Undetectable, that is, until His Presence, like the wind, rushes in.
Thus is the reason He is kept at such a distance, for no one has been able to dictate His movements.
Irrelevant
Nonessential
Even unnecessary is He thought to be, for most in the Church do not regard a relationship with Holy Spirit as vital to their walk with Me.
Impotent vessels
Weak-minded
Powerless
Thus is the current state of the Church.
For the inhibiting of Holy Spirit has rendered the Church ineffectual.
Blunt
Diminished
Like dull blades are My children.
For they lack the ability to affect real transformation. Thus must a reorientation now occur within My Body: a re-centering upon the ancient paths.
Disruptive
Chaotic
Yet divinely appointed
Thus is the season the Church has just entered.
Pivotal
Defining
The delineation line between the old and the new: a departure from what has been and a full immersion into what has begun.
Turbulent
Troubling
Tumultuous
Yet a blessing in disguise should these days be counted, as the herald for the coming revival.
Resurgence
Renewal
A reawakening is dawning, thus again shall there be a fresh outpouring of Holy Spirit released upon the earth.
Unprecedented
Momentous
Shall this promised revival be.
For its surge shall overtake the entire world, thus will many more be added to My Kingdom in that hour.
Upheaval
Unrest
The precursors to the coming revival.
Unavoidable
Indeed necessary
For it is through these added stressors that My higher purposes shall be accomplished in the Church.
Exceptional
Yet even extraordinary shall this season be remembered.
For in the midst of the turmoil the Church will be enlivened once again through a significant move of Holy Spirit.
Expectant
Watchful
Thus should eager anticipation even now flood the hearts of My children as they await the revival that has yet to manifest.
A re-igniting
A reviving
A rekindling of the supernatural flame already lit.
Yet the power propelling this resurgence shall generate a wave that rapidly spreads throughout the entire world.
For then shall this generation of the Church be impassioned to fulfill their higher calling, which is to see the Gospel is preached in every nation.
