I heard, “More change is coming!”, then the Lord said this:
“Evil, evil, evil. Everywhere a man looks can evil be found, for surely throughout the whole of society, including the Church, is gross immorality running rampant, as even some who claim to be followers of My Son are engaged in explicit behavior, for surely are they lovers of darkness.
And while one would expect to see evil of all kinds in the world, amongst My own this should not be so, as they should make no accommodations for the practices of the flesh. For those who truly belong to Christ are no longer driven by their fleshly desires; for their flesh has been crucified. However, in the Church, as she now stands, very few have put into practice that command and, as such, do not bear the fruit in keeping with repentance.
Then it is by their conduct that the true condition of an individual’s heart is proven. Therefore, those who walk in accordance with the Spirit no longer live as they once did, as they have put to death the deeds of their flesh. For surely is that act of obedience a mark of a genuine believer. For indeed should the lives of the truly repentant no longer resemble those of the world, as they desire to live a life that is pleasing to Me.
So then, to live a life that is contrary to the Spirit is, in essence, to be in rebellion towards Me. For the Spirit was sent to reveal the truth and to remind believers of My ways. Therefore, those who reject His wise counsel are still partakers of the flesh and, as such, are operating in conjunction with evil; for surely are they willfully keeping alive that which should have been put to death.
Yet has indulging the compulsions of the flesh become commonplace amongst the Church, for surely is worldliness readily accepted within her assembly halls and amongst her congregants. For most who attend are nominal believers and thus are unwilling to die to themselves. And so among them can sexual immorality, idolatry, drunkenness, and other evils such as these be found.
Then the recent exposures of Church leaders behaving in that same manner should not be surprising, for they, too, have been ruled by the appetites of their flesh. As such have they rendered themselves ineffective vessels, for indeed have they subjugated themselves to evil by keeping open the door through which the enemy is able to influence their thoughts. For surely do they savor his suggestions, those which promote self-gratification and the lusts of their flesh.
So though more than a few pastors and spiritual leaders have already been caught committing gross acts of immorality, surely more exposures are still to come. For I mean to drive out evil everywhere it can be found within the Church. And so even amongst the laity shall there be a thorough purging of evil and, as such, shall it be that some who are found claiming to be a Christian today, shall fall away tomorrow, for they shall be unwilling to break partnership with the world and its ways.
And so, in the coming days, shall the Church undergo even more change. For throughout her assembly halls many more vacant seats shall be found, as superficial is the faith of those who, right now, occupy those seats. And so shall they simply wander back into the world for they have found no compelling reason to stay put. For the Jesus they have encountered is not the One found in the Scriptures, as the version of Him they have been taught allows for compromise with sin. And so attending church has become nothing more than a social event, and/or a source of entertainment.
Ah then, in this season shall there be a Churchwide falling away. For as the winds of change blow through the Church, those seeds which fell on fallow ground shall be carried off in its current, for their roots held no real depth to begin with and, as such, shall many fall away.
Then should My own understand that, as they continue to see these things happen, it is indeed My hand at work and not the enemy coming against the elect (as some have already claimed). It is not a demonic attack, but a divine purging of the evil found in the Church. Therefore, do I say, “Do not be dismayed by what you see happening in the days just ahead, but simply trust that what I am doing is for the good of My Body and for My glory. So take heart and ready yourselves now, for more change is coming!”
