“…grab your nets and let’s get to fishing! For I tell you now, there is a bounty to catch! You simply need to cast your nets out in the open waters.”
This is what I heard:
“See then are the waters just teeming with fish, yet those who should be out in the waters fishing have not left the dock, and so are attempting to catch a large haul from their stationary position, as they expect the fish to come to them.
So though some fish have been caught in their net, a more sizable catch is just waiting out in the waters beyond where these “fishers of men” have cast their nets. Yet, week after week, do they stay anchored in the same spot, for they are quite content with the meager size of their haul.
And so shall the present opportunity to catch an abundance of fish in their nets simply pass them by, for they have not bothered to ask Me where, when, and how to deploy their nets. For they are resting on the assumption that fishing from the dock is what I would have them do. Thus have these “fishers of men” cast off any notion of heading out into the open waters to fish.”
[Vision: I saw a man standing on a dock where, tethered to the dock, sat many small fishing boats. The man standing on the edge of the dock was holding a fishing pole which he had cast just a ways out before him. On the end of his line was a hook with a worm. He simply stood there looking down into the water waiting for a fish to nibble on his line. Another man was sitting in one of the boats doing the same. However, a little ways away from the two men, I saw fish leaping out of the water, as if to signal where the better fishing spot was located; but neither man noticed.]
Then the Lord continued:
“Ah then amongst the sea of the unbelieving in this nation does there dwell a school of fish not native to her lands, those that migrated far from their natural habitat in search of less treacherous waters, and so sought the safety of America’s waters. However, though these fish may not have traversed the proper channels as their means of arrival, their presence in America’s waters should not be discounted or overlooked, for in amongst this school of fish does the opportunity for global evangelism exist. For indeed the proximity to the fish from other nations has grown ever closer.
Yet who shall seize upon this chance to spread the Gospel Message? Shall any of those who are called to be “fishers of men” (those who dwell upon America’s shores) come forth in this hour to preach the Good News and proclaim My Kingdom to these fish from foreign seas? Or will this opportunity be squandered because some who were given eyes to see viewed these fish with their natural sight instead of with a spiritual lens, thinking those fish need to just simply swim back to the waters from which they came?
See then does a bounty of fish lie right before you just waiting to be caught, for indeed amongst this school of fish is the harvest already plentiful. Therefore, My children, those who call America home, should cast their nets out into the waters wherever those fish can be found. For what the enemy sought for evil shall I turn for good!
Then do not cast ‘disdain’ towards those poor souls who have migrated to your lands. See them as those who are simply lost and in need of redemption. For is this not the view you are to have of anyone that has yet to encounter salvation? As such, shake off any notion that sets My Kingdom objectives in second place, for its building should take priority in your hearts over concerns for this nation, and making her “great” again!
And so do I say, “Do not squander these days, beloved, by allowing your concerns for America’s future to override the concerns of My Kingdom. Instead, grab your nets and let’s get to fishing! For I tell you now, there is a bounty to catch! You simply need to cast your nets out in the open waters.”
So then do I say again, “Grab your nets, beloved, and let’s go fishing!”
