Come into My presence with singing, come into My presence with praise! Let your heart rejoice for the “good things” I have done! For there is nothing more powerful for you to experience than this: for you to see Me “do”. It bolsters your faith and creates deeper trust, filling your heart with joy.
The “good things” I do for My children may seem contrary to good, may not make sense, and may indeed feel painful to go through. But the reality is, those things are meant to free you and release you from the dark places of your past.
The “good things” I do may, at times, seem cloaked in mystery: at times may be hard to understand. But once the purpose is revealed, My intentions are always known as “good”. For would a good Father leave one of his children to needlessly suffer? Wouldn’t he do everything he could to set his child free, to heal all the hurt? In order to see the “good” in what I do, the pain must be realized. My children must connect to it in order to be released from it.
Here is where My “good” is displayed. For once they engage with the pain, I am able to release them from it and bring healing to their hearts, as so many are trapped and in bondage, being tormented by choices of the past or the evil done to them by others. It is a “good thing” for them to be released from it. But so many won’t let go, won’t accept the “good” I want to do in them for they fear life without the hurt. They have become accustomed to it being a part of their life. It would be odd for them to wake up without it, so they tighten their grip on the pain of the past. Like a blanket, they cover themselves with it, surrendering to it, letting it be the master over them.
But I have come to change all that. I’ve come to infuse My presence into their hearts and to fill those places with My goodness. There is no room for both. One must go. This is where the battle is fought, where warfare ensues. My children cannot truly be set free unless they choose to connect with the pain. For then they are able to accept the “good things” from Me. Then their hearts have room for Me to expand My presence in them: to know true freedom, real Truth; able to see with fresh eyes, have a clear vision, no longer distorted by the lies and pain of the past. For now, there is nothing left to hinder their ears from hearing, their souls from connecting to Me. The “good things” I do are designed to bring freedom…. freedom is the goal.
