And so it was that the wise men traveled from the East in search of the Messiah, for indeed had the Prince of Heaven come to dwell among men. Although only a wee child did those Magi encounter, yet even still did they bow to His authority, for they knew this One of whom the prophecies had spoken was no ordinary King. So while He appeared to most to be just a typical child, for surely His earthly parents were of the common sort that labored with their hands, to those who remained expectant, the Truth of His identity was revealed, as indeed the Savior of the world had been birthed: the One who was destined to save mankind from His sins.
Although this date, January 6th, is observed by many as having spiritual significance, this celebration is simply a tradition created by man, like Christmas and Easter, and so should not be considered “more holy” than any other day, for in Him was the fulfillment of all that the law required, including the feasts and offerings that were yearly requirements. Therefore, within each and every day should due honor be given to His name, for He now sits upon the highest throne bearing the crown King of Kings, and Lord of Lords, as the One who accomplished in the hearts of man that which the law could not.
Then the initial manifestation of His presence to those noble men was to establish His deity as the Chosen One, who was sent from My Kingdom to rescue all of mankind from the pit of darkness. So though the Epiphany was indeed a joyous occasion for those Magi, their visit consummated, in part, a prophecy that had long ago been foretold to be supporting proof that Jesus was, and is, indeed My Son.
Yet through His birth, life, death, and resurrection did He fulfill every Scriptural prophecy regarding the Messiah, with none bearing greater importance than the other, as it is the combined culmination of each prophetic utterance that serves as the proof text of His identity. It is only the foolish, then, who would now dispute the validity of His divinity, for it wasn’t simply one or two Old Testament predictions that, through Him, came to pass, but the number is more numerous than the hundreds which have already been uncovered. And since it is true that in Him each and every Messianic prophecy came to fruition, and that not one outweighs the other in accomplishment, then it is the person of Christ who should be continually elevated in the lives of His followers.
Therefore, dispense with your earthly traditions meant to commemorate Him. Instead, daily exalt His name, and with hearts full of adoration, give Him all your praise. It is time for those who consider themselves “the Church” to break free from these religious traditions, and loose off those ritualistic practices of men. For empty are the ceremonial acts and observances that you follow, as it is only the personhood of Christ, and Him glorified that you should be found exalting, and no other.
And so in this season, the hour has come for those bound in the shackles of religious bondage to know the true freedom that is found in My Son, for His sacrifice forever severed the chains of ceremonial duty and performance, as it is not strict adherence to a rote set of religious tenets that shall see someone’s guilt is fully expunged.
Then say I: “You who are bound to the teachings of catechism, it’s time to shake off those chains, for the spirit of religion has held many prisoners through this false system of beliefs. Do not remain tethered to the centuries-old lies he continues to promote. Step out from under this veil of darkness, for its heavy weave has dampened the brightness of My Son’s light from fully radiating within your heart. So let even those who have been buried beneath the catacombs of false religion be caught up in the wave of revival, when it washes in, for there are some who belong to Me that are still found clinging to Catholicism and its doctrinal edicts.”.
