There is something significant which transpires at the altar where My love has been poured out.
In this place of transformation, a soul finally steps into rebirth, where I administer the necessary application of forgiveness so that none of his sins are left standing; thus giving the appearance of one who is blameless, as if his life had never known darkness. So in that moment of first recognition, his slate has been wiped completely clean, never again to be marred by any previous erring; left without a single accusation that could be held against him.
Yet, for so many of My chosen, their past still seems to haunt them, doubting the full seal of forgiveness, unable to adhere to the idea that they are not colored by the same tone, for the shades of those days no longer hold the ugly stain of offense. From where I am seated only brilliant white is apparent, not retaining the slightest tinge of gray, nor is there anything dingy attached to the fabric of their days. For even its borders are absent a hint of their former life, without any reminder of who they had once been.
When each of My chosen stepped towards salvation, their heart led them to Me, where an invisible transaction took place: one which brought in full restoration, leaving nothing to remain. I purchased the whole lot: every negative thought and action became part of Me, thus putting to rest any of the enemy’s arguments that some could still be accused (although there are some of My chosen who still need some convincing, for they have accepted the enemy’s version of what actually transpired when they made their way down to stand before Me, or raised their hand as a sign of acceptance).
Instead of believing the Truth which I hold, declaring that every part of their being has been covered by Me, they have chosen a distorted view of their new identity, where shame and guilt are still present, and still hold some weight, causing them to spend many pointless hours mulling over the painful interactions they had experienced in their former manner of living; thinking some of these actions much too great an offense to ever be washed completely away; not believing that the power My sacrifice carried was strong enough to abolish every infraction, considering some too large a proposition to be tackled, unable to really apply complete nullification to every one of his sins.
Yet, I AM, and I DID!
I released man from his bondage, no longer held to the space as that of slaves, as if in confinement. For through Me came the total payment for all of man’s unsavory deeds, regardless of how depraved his actions. For I always considered each one to be worth the price that I paid. Without hesitation, I stepped forward willing to settle the charges in full, thus eradicating forever the eternal conflict between man and the Almighty King; setting each of My chosen in the place of wholeness with nothing left in need of atonement. My gesture of love did not come empty-handed but offered full reparation: an amendment for every transgression which forever put to rest man’s need for self-reliance (as if any of his own endeavors would bring him to right standing, granting him access to full redemption).
For apart from Me, man will always be found lacking, never able to acquire the sufficiency of works that would erase the mark of this world which rests upon him, no matter how great his sacrificial behavior. For these works are not even considered worthy, having been done from a place of self-devotion, hoping to balance out the scales of justice through the good works of religiosity by manufacturing a form of forgiveness set to his own terms and conditions.
Yet for those who have accepted Me as Savior, there is not found a single flaw among them, not even a small blemish can be seen on those who have sought after Me, thereby precluding them from ever knowing any penalty for wrongdoing when joining their soul to true freedom by experiencing grace undeserving: the term which holds them in the place of ‘unconditional’, allowing them the access to live life from a new level by changing their landscape to fit a more heavenly perspective, and adjusting their view so it rests upon those things which sit higher. Holding fast to their faith, they embrace the belief in My promise that all things are made new for those who call upon Me.
So no longer consider yourself as one who is unprotected, fearful of what might happen once your past transgressions are exposed to My light. For all has already been seen, and yet are not a burden for you to carry. Each fragment of shame has been taken away, leaving guilt without any place for attachment. For every wound of pain has been covered, blanketed by eternal compassion which made certain there were not any left out that could not find divine healing. Each area of pain I took upon myself, so now My chosen only need to release it, and stop allowing the words of shame and guilt to remain.
My words and instructions only promote healing, set towards the path of restoration: of encountering the benefits of one who has been forgiven. For the only time a past transgression is brought up at all is if the Spirit is prompting some action towards it, held with the goal of breakage: to permanently break off the power that shame and guilt had acquired in order to keep My chosen from realizing the meaning of freedom. Yet because some of My chosen do not understand the necessity of compliance: of following through with the Spirit’s urging, they’re unable to see his motives as helpful, allowing shame to dissuade any further movement, which keeps some of My chosen holding on to their shackles, thinking it a better option to let the old remain dormant, and keeping their unfavorable deeds hidden. Though complete freedom has been given, many refuse to accept it. And by voluntarily choosing to remain in bondage, they carry the chains of their past with them as they live out their days, thinking that this is something they must do, as the thought of recalling those moments again is too painful; all the while allowing shame to loiter, taking up space to which he has no rights, like a trespasser who has been invited to stay.
My beloved, the solution for existing in the space of true freedom is quite a simple matter which involves an attitude of rejection: No longer acknowledge the words shame has to offer, then deny him the access to your mind. Stand against his attempts to remain a squatter by choosing the path which leads to humility, allowing the Spirit to guide you. Then the things of your past can finally be put to rest, leaving you standing as one unencumbered, able to move forward with a real ease; one who has been completely liberated, and ready to take back the ground they have been given, as those who have become the rightful heirs to My Kingdom who know the meaning of complete reconciliation.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” -2 Corinthians 5:17-21
