Then in power did My Spirit burst forth like a torrent that could not be stopped, flooding those who had been awaiting His appearance with a surge of divine wisdom and revelation so that, in a confidence not their own, those early apostles and believers would, in boldness, proclaim the ‘Good News’ to the world. And so they were, in those moments of encounter, fully equipped to stand in their true calling as those who would advance My Kingdom expansion through the establishment of the Ekklesia amongst the throngs of humanity.
From here to there were they sent to further the work begun in My Son, for He is the One from which the Ekklesia was birthed, and is the foundation upon which it stands. Yet its form and function were always meant to be Spirit-led, and so Holy Spirit was sent, for He ever moves in perfect unison with the Father’s will, and so it is His wise counsel that should continually be sought when My children assemble.
Yet for many decades, the organizational structure known as the modern-day church sought to constrain the flow of Holy Spirit, and as such, a counterfeit version of the ekklesia has emerged: one that bears little resemblance to that of My initial blueprint, and which, therefore, does not operate in the manner by which I had intended.
Then like a bird with clipped wings does “the Church” sit, for she lacks the capacity to ascend into the upper realms of My Presence, as it is only those who fully lean upon the wind of Holy Spirit that are able to soar to those heights. Oh so seldom, then, is the direction of this divine current ever caught in the cooperate meeting halls where believers often gather, as the flow of these services is predetermined well in advance, leaving nothing to chance. And, then what is called “Spirit-led” is actually heavily orchestrated and crafted by the hands of man, with the pastor’s message viewed as the centerpiece of these gatherings. As a result, what was meant to function as My governing council upon the earth, has been relegated to little more than an audience that assembles weekly to be entertained and inspired.
And so it is for most believers that Holy Spirit has either been forgotten altogether or is thought to now play a very limited role within “the Church”, where His manifest presence has been greatly diminished, with only a small handful of My children actually operating in His gifts and moving in His power. It’s no wonder, then, that the modern-day church, especially in America, has been largely ineffective in the taking of spiritual ground, as passivity has settled in, absent that Holy Spirit-driven compulsion to seek and save the lost that was found in the early believers on the occasion of Pentecost.
However, in this season, Holy Spirit shall once again breathe the winds of revival throughout My Body, thus invigorating a rebirthing of the Ekklesia. For My children were not meant to be docile in nature, as are those who readily submit to a controlling force found in that domineering structure that is the local church: a place where attendees are expected to acquiesce to its leadership without question. Instead, know that it is not conformity to any religious system that My children were called, whether that be denominational or not.
Yet it is not from a rebellious position that the true Ekklesia shall reemerge. For while the majority of believers were happy to comply with the order of the institutional church, a remnant has been waiting in the wilderness of preparation, who, after having humbly submitted to the rigors of intense testing (those purging flames where ungodliness is burnt off), now stand ready to be called forth. In these believers (those who shall stand as My true Ekklesia) have I cast a vision regarding My Kingdom: one that cannot be contained in any meeting hall, nor repressed by a religious structure. Its formation and functionality are purely Holy Spirit-led, as it is only through the help of His supernatural power that My Kingdom can effectively advance on the earth.
See, then, from out of obscurity is My true Ekklesia once again emerging, where all will stand on equal footing as the governing council of My Kingdom realm: those who are given the charge of being spiritual watchmen of their communities, which can only be rightly accomplished through a deep reliance on Holy Spirit for guidance.
Hear Me then, Ekklesia, it is time that you make yourself known, and stand in your rightful authority over the darkness of this world.
