When weeds are allowed to freely grow across the entirety of a field, every trace of their existence cannot instantly be erased from the terrain. For though, upon its surface, the ground may appear to be cleared, troublesome roots are usually found deeply embedded within the soil, and so they, too, must be extracted. Then understand that the full eradication of those supplanters is a process that cannot be done in haste, lest a few stragglers are missed, allowing their roots to continue to grow and soon encroach upon the space which was meant for others; stalks that would continue to produce a legitimate crop.
And so it is that the recent damage done to this nation shall not be repaired immediately, even though recovery of some of what was lost shall not take long to manifest. This reclamation of godliness, however, shall only be known through the attentive prayers of My children, as it is not enough to pray that a government official is unseated, but that he or she not leave behind any lasting legacy of corruption. The legs of the very seats upon which those despots sat must therefore be cut down and the evil with which they partnered completely uprooted.
Then it is not an attitude of passivity that shall see this land reclaim her reputation as a virtuous nation, but through the continued intercession of the faithful that integrity shall once again be valued and purity admired.
So beat your plowshares into swords, and contend for the very ground upon which you stand, for it shall take the efforts of dedicated warriors who are firmly committed to My cause to see that evil’s influence over America is greatly diminished. Don’t wildly swing your sword into the air hoping to level a blow against the enemy, but instead, with a deliberate hand, strike at the roots of sin which have infested this soil. For surely ‘selfishness’ and ‘greed’ are the driving forces behind the majority who are in government. It is from these transgressions that many more weeds of iniquity have sprung up, and then spread like a plague throughout the entire nation.
So like soldiers who have been assigned a specific target, engage in warfare, focusing upon the roots of ‘avarice’ and ‘pride’ which are even now undermining the very foundation upon which this nation was built. Yet do not simply pray that every creeping root is cleared away, but also that the righteous are raised up and established upon the ground of Washington, and anywhere that corruption is known to dwell.
