A new level of vulgarity has overtaken the airwaves of this world, as brackish behavior and crass words are now seen as acceptable forms of entertainment. Yet this occurrence did not happen overnight, as little by little the standard used to define objectionable material was relaxed, and as such, with each successive generation of mankind, the line of decency has eroded, which is why it is now “barely detectable”. While this form of coarse conduct is to be expected of the world (for in the last days it has been foretold that wickedness will become even more pervasive), it is upright living that should be embraced by My children, which means shunning evil in every form, without exception. For what distinction can be drawn between the redeemed and the lost if believers act no differently than the world?
Then it is righteousness that should be pursued regardless of the circumstances, as even a small concession to evil unlocks the door for further sin to enter in. It must be remembered, then, that the enemy cannot be trusted to keep his end of any bargain; for who can expect honest negotiation with a liar?
Therefore, none who belong to My household should find pleasure in this or any other sort of repugnant behavior, as it greatly diminishes your witness, and leaves you standing on the ground of compromise, which speaks loudly to others of hypocrisy, as you’re not actually living out what you claim to believe.
Dear ones, don’t forget that there are consequences to be paid when you partner with the world, which is the reason My children were told to flee even the appearance of evil. For just like that, the enemy has caught you in a trap, causing damage to your reputation.
Heed this warning then, and do not allow vulgarity into your lives, setting a guard over your mouths so nothing profane comes out. Do not seek to be entertained by anyone that promotes obscene talk or any other kind of immorality. Stop allowing these voices into your homes, and avoid their influence altogether. Instead, turn your attention My direction and let your thoughts dwell upon Me. Purge your life of that filth and refuse to make any more agreements with evil, for it is high time that My children fully leave this world and its trappings behind them.
