“…for such a time as this…”, did I create this generation of the Church, and therefore, these children were specifically chosen as the vessels who would carry forth the work of My Kingdom now upon the earth.
So then, just as it was with Queen Esther, where no mere coincidence brought her to the royal court at a time when her people faced persecution at the hand of evil Haman, it was not an accident that those who currently make up the Church are alive now. This divine appointment was assigned in eternity past, when I decided, before the days of man, which of My children would be commissioned to enlarge My Kingdom in the present day. Therefore, not a single believer should see themselves as insignificant to My cause, as each one has a role to play in the advancing of this higher purpose, so that what was now meant to be fulfilled, is not delayed.
Although I have foreseen quite a few actually walking away from this effort, leaving their brethren to bear the bulk of this responsibility, yet what I have seen in the hearts of these children who remain is a gladness to shoulder the work, for they believe it a privilege to be counted amongst those who shall usher in the promised revival.
And so, when My Son said, “Go out and make disciples of all men”, this was not a suggestion, but a command, issued to each successive generation of the Church. But most who are Mine do not recognize that it was with an intentional hand that I placed their life upon the world’s timeline, knowing which sons and daughters would fit perfectly into My unfolding plan for mankind.
Then if these children were specifically selected to be My current representatives, shouldn’t they take this calling seriously, and take to the streets healing those who are sick and setting free anyone oppressed by the devil? And while some understand this to be their assignment, the majority who claim to follow My Son have yet to rise up from their pews and go where He leads, which is anywhere the lost are to be found.
Remember, He often ate with the outcasts of society: those thought to be of little value and a waste of time. And if this is where He went, then every believer should be willing to heed His example, even if that means interacting with those in their communities deemed less desirable.
Then recognize there is a greater purpose for your life. For just as Queen Esther discovered, it was for “…such a time as this…” that you were created.
“For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?”-Esther 4:14
