It was her faith that caused this afflicted woman to reach out and touch the hem of His garment, for she believed He was the Messiah, and therefore, even a slight brush with His holiness had the power to heal her affliction; and so it was that the health of this woman was restored.
For to see a supernatural outpouring manifest upon her, she did not entertain thoughts of unbelief, as this afflicted woman held no doubt within that Jesus could heal her, which is why, in that moment, He did not hesitate to perform a miracle in her life.
Then it isn’t enough to simply want to be healed; for many have this desire within yet are still overcome with disease or illness. It is because they lack the internal confidence to take Me at My word, which hinders the miraculous from converging upon them. And while some would say this kind of spiritual healing is not for today, they would be wrong. For the same power that raised Christ from the dead dwells in all of My children, yet only a few think this promise to be true. This is because most believers have been taught to no longer expect signs and wonders in this day and age, for those operations of My Spirit were only for a small period of history, and isn’t a function of the Church today.
This lack of operating in divine power has severely limited the lives of believers. For having a supernatural encounter is often the bridge I use to not only broaden the faith of believers, but also to guide the lost across the gap from sinner to saint. For who can deny My existence after having experienced the surge of My Spirit coursing through their body?
This handicapped state wherein the Church has existed must end now! It is time to reignite the fire of My Spirit within her midst so that believers walk in ‘dunamis’ power, that spiritual flame that started in each one when Jesus became their Savior. However, to see this flicker increase and become an internal blaze, believers must be baptized with the fire of My Spirit, which, unfortunately, most of My children have either avoided or flat out rejected. And while none are ever forced to go where I am leading, those who refuse to follow Me into this blaze shall miss the greater work I am doing in the Church during this new era, as her future requires sons and daughters that live fearlessly for My Kingdom: those who are unashamed to be known as followers of Christ.
In this current season, I have called for a resurgence in the Church, where My Spirit flows like a fiery wind in and through the Body of believers. Those He finds ready and waiting in faith shall receive a fresh outpouring of spiritual fire, generating an internal boldness to go out into their communities healing the sick and delivering the oppressed. Great shall be the number of those transformed during these days, causing revival to abound, with some even knowing spontaneous healing as they reach out to Jesus in total surrender. For like a sharpened harpoon, the Truth shall pierce their hearts, causing many to fall to their knees in repentance.
So, just as a farmer prepares his land for the next harvest, setting a controlled burn so that His fields are consumed with fire, so, too, shall Holy fire be loosed upon the Church, where those who are drawn to its light are completely consumed by the heat of its flame.
Trade in your limited perspective in regards to the miraculous, and leave behind any misgivings you have about signs and wonders. Instead, approach the coming days with new found faith, where you, too, expect to see Me move in inexplicable ways. Break free from any past religious teachings that seek to dismiss signs and wonders as irrelevant because the Church is now more “enlightened”. Know that these doctrines are not of Me, as is any form of instruction that constricts the flow of My Spirit.
Therefore, stop being like the narrow minded who think believers only need the Bible, for Holy Spirit was sent to do more than just illuminate Scriptural truths. He came to imbue each of My children with power from on high, in order to heal the sick and lame, raise the dead, and set free the captives bound in demonic chains.
Walk as those worthy of this calling, for you were chosen to represent My Kingdom here on the earth. Live from this position as reflections of My Son, so that even within the passerby there shall be a witness of Truth in their spirits, as the fire you carry has the ability to affect the atmosphere all around you; even to those in close proximity, without realizing why, will know an internal shift, because the dark forces at work in their lives must bow to this dunamis power, creating the perfect opportunity for you to speak the Message of the Gospel into their weary souls.
It is time for believers in this nation to rise up out of their pews and reclaim the ground that I have given to you; that land wherein the enemy has convinced many of you to relinquish your authority as rightful heirs, and thereby diminishing the power of Holy Spirit working in your communities. And since the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in you, go forth as commanded by My Son, laying hands on the sick and healing those who are oppressed, for you, too, have been empowered to perform the miraculous even in this era of the Church.
“These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues; they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” – Mark 16:17-18
