The head and the heart need to find agreement. This is the struggle for many of My children. They have heard My words taught, but it is the application of My precepts that hinder them and keep them from walking in faith.
So life continues to be met with the actions of their old nature because they have not learned how to live differently; for the ideas about the freedom gained through My Son have yet to be situated in their knowledge and held in a deeper understanding in their very being. Then to these, it is just information, something which sounded good at the time. But I do not wish for any of My children to remain with limited understanding, so I open up opportunities where they can learn how to apply what they have heard by putting into practice living from their inner man.
If they are no longer bound to sin then there is a choice to exist in real freedom, but it is something they must desire, to have Truth dwell deep within. This is how unity is achieved, where heart and mind believe the same thing, are on the same page when it comes to action and single-minded about how to proceed. For once their whole being is centered on Truth, logic will find it has been replaced with trust, leaving sensible thinking behind because there isn’t any doubt left to create misgivings about who they are in Me. Then, as understanding settles into their soul, its hold cannot be broken (as if driven in, like a hammer to a nail, this higher level of thought becomes permanently attached to their inner being), so they no longer see themselves as they used to be, and are not vexed by the things of the past.
This lifestyle of freedom is right before them, given to each of those who call Me Father. It just takes a willing heart and a little practice to live from this new position. But, there must be a different approach taken than the usual interactions with struggle, where old habits have been known to lead. What I am hoping to see are children who want to grow, those who would shake off the complacency generated by lower thinking, for they have begun to see with a Heavenly perspective, and have arrived at the understanding that there is more to our partnership than simply hearing wise teaching.
Application is needed. Application is the key, for it unlocks the development which keeps My transformational process moving forward.
